However, there are many other music affiliate programs available, and most of them offer higher commission rates than Amazon Associates. You can often find out if a company has an affiliate program by checking their website to see if they have a page called “Affiliates” or something similar.

Apple ended its App Store affiliate program in October 2018. However, you can still promote Apple Services content through Apple’s Performance Partners Program. This includes services like Apple Music, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and others.

How can I promote music products as an influencer?
There are several ways you can effectively promote affiliate products in the music niche, several of which are covered below. However, keep in mind that many of the best music affiliate programs have rules about how you can promote their products. These restrictions can be found in each program’s terms and conditions.
For instance, most companies won’t let you bid on PPC keywords that contain the company’s name (such as in Google Ads). Others won’t let you promote products via email.
With that in mind, here are a few channels to consider using to promote a music affiliate program:
Social media. Sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest can be good places to promote affiliate products if you already have a following. Remember that you need to disclose any affiliate links – for instance, by using a hashtag like #ad.
YouTube. If you create tutorials on YouTube, you can link to affiliate products in the video description or within the video itself.
Your blog. If you’re new to affiliate marketing, setting up a blog can be one of the best ways to start promoting products in the music niche. By far the most popular – and arguably the best – platform to start a blog is WordPress.org (not the same as WordPress.com, which doesn’t give you as much control and ownership of your blog).
The cost of starting a blog is low. You’ll need to register a domain using a domain name registrar like Namecheap. You’ll also need a web host such as HostGator or Bluehost. (Although possible, it’s not best practice to use the same company as both domain registrar and web host.)
Your email newsletter. If you’ve built up a subscriber base via your blog, you may be permitted to promote affiliate products to your subscribers via email, such as drip campaigns or promotional announcements. This type of affiliate marketing works best when you’ve built trust with your subscribers by regularly giving free value.
Online communities. Forums, Facebook groups, Reddit, and other online communities are another option for promoting affiliate products, with a caveat: Don’t spam. Many online communities are hostile to anything that resembles spam. As such, they won’t permit commercial posts except under certain conditions, if at all.
